UCC-32

The Universal Communication Controller-32 (UCC-32) is a stand-alone, 32 channel, high-speed serial interface with conversion capabilities to a variety of military standard protocols (e.g. Link-1, Link-11B, Forward Tell, Lateral Tell, CD-2 etc). It provides interfacing from synchronous serial interfaces using RS-422 to systems equipped with a standard serial asynchronous communication port using RS-232.

The Universal Communication Controller-32 can be used as a format converter from synchronous serial data to asynchronous serial data. If there is a requirement to replace systems based on H5118 with COTS equipment, the UCC-32 is an excellent choice. Whether there is a need to replace a Link-1, Link-11B, CD-2, Forward Tell, Lateral Tell or other system, or the necessity to simulate these systems with COTS equipment the UCC-32 can provide an ideal solution in these situations. Since the UCC-32 is fully data-transparent (no processing except simple formatting is performed on the data) it provides an easy migration/integration path into existing systems.
